Our Club

Welcome to ElitSwim Club!

The ElitSwim Club is a continuation of the foundation we have built up from our other developmental programs. These include our year-round ElitSwim (Pre-Competitive) Build Skills programs and the Swim Lessons for the City of San Ramon, which assist in our effort to continue offering high-quality service, training, and community to all levels and ages in East Bay Area. Through our programs, swimmers build strong foundations in swim lessons, gain understanding of practice structure in pre-comp, and move on to learn elite-level swimming with our Club.

Who We Are

Paschalis Ntatsos is the Founder/Head Coach of the ElitSwim Club. Paschalis has an extensive background in competitive swimming at the highest levels and has vast experience and deep knowledge of performance swimming at all ages. He has designed the curricula for each group and will direct and oversee all aspects of the program's growth. ElitSwim Club emphasizes high-quality instruction, water efficiency, removing barriers to performance, and preventing swimmer injuries.

ElitSwim Club (ELIT) is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization and is part of USA Swimming and Pacific Swimming. ELIT is a competitive year-round swim club. Its programs are designed to provide leading professional coaching and initiatives to assist athletes in developing to their full potential and competing at the highest levels. To encourage and support student-athletes as academic and athletic excellence goes hand in hand and complements one another.

ELIT is operated by a professional coaching staff and governed by a Board of Directors, with help from parent volunteers throughout the year. Our volunteer Board Of Directors includes only passionate and skilled individuals with deep knowledge of swimming, positive and energetic to create the best possible and supportive environment for all. Most important, however, is their love and respect for the sport and its members.

Mission Statement

The ElitSwim Swim Club strives to create a pathway to excellence and empowerment for athletes, ensuring success in life and in swimming while maintaining a safe, positive and supportive environment for all.

Philosophy

The ElitSwim Club (ELIT) is committed to providing an enjoyable and complete swimming experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Providing an inclusive, diverse, safe environment for athletes to develop to their highest competitive success while learning life skills through professionally organized programming and events. ElitSwim's training method is quality over quantity. We apply the latest and most advanced technical methods worldwide on dryland and in the water to achieve high-performance results in improving times and efficiency in the water.

As with all organizations, our Club can be successful only if everyone is an active member and participates in all activities. We expect families to volunteer their time, energy, and talents on behalf of the team.

Objectives

• To provide excellence in professional coaching and programs to develop individuals to the best of their abilities to compete at the highest levels;
• To provide an atmosphere that inspires swimmers to achieve their maximum potential through a strong work ethic, discipline, self-motivation, and self-esteem;
• To develop team unity where everyone encourages and takes pride in each other at all levels of competition.
• To foster and support student-athletes at the highest level as academics and athletics work hand in hand and support and complement each other. Create opportunities for scholarships and guidance for all future college applicants.
• To instill a lifelong love of swimming through enjoyment and accomplishment at all levels of swimming.

Organization

ElitSwim Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization(Inc). We derive our funds from membership dues, fundraising events, and sponsorship. We spend these funds primarily on coaching costs, equipment, incentives, and social functions for our members. We sponsor social events to provide a social atmosphere outside the pool environment. The Founding Member, Paschalis Ntatsos, serves as the organization's Executive Director and designs and oversees all athletic functions/programs of the Club. You may refer to the ElitSwim Club website for a current list of our Board of Directors and Coaching Staff. Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday every two months. The President determines the time and location of the meeting. The Board may also call additional periodic meetings. Our dues structure can only be sustained by a consistently strong involvement from all team members.

Structure

ElitSwim Club is a member of the Pacific Swimming, Zone 2, which in turn is a subdivision of USA Swimming. USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for amateur competitive swimming in the USA. USA Swimming is responsible for selecting USA National Teams, which compete at the Olympic and World Championships and other international competitions. ElitSwim competes in meets at all levels of the USA Swimming program, both regionally and nationally. Part of the commitment of ElitSwim is to develop national and international level swimmers.
